Two Legs is a London-based producer who has gifted us with the melancholy dance track of the summer, “Grin.” Many electronic artists will craft meaningful songs with a bouncy electronic beat, but Two Legs is in his own pocket. The pulse of his music keeps you in the feelings of the song, while offering a glimpse of light. Two Legs states “the track is about letting things build up internally, without speaking out about how you feel. In that sense, it looks at how our whole world is internal, and how rarely we get to see this hidden part of each other in any full clarity.” The song ends with a minute long outer body electronic experience, that lifts you out of the melancholic feel, and back to a state of peace. Two Legs “Grin” is easily one of our favorite electronic songs of the summer, and his genre of melancholy dance music is sure to take off, this year.
