TOTEM, is one artist that we at Music & Other Drugs have been following for awhile now. He mixes pop, r&b, and alternative all in one and his music resonates really well with us. Today we like to get your morning started with a fresh tune from his upcoming EP, Echoes, set to drop this October. The singer from New York City, has been moving around the states to make his music. The singer moved from L.A. to Atlanta to finish up his upcoming project. His track, “All Falls Down” is a sure winner with his soaring vocals and electro-r&b production. The singer explained the inspiration behind the song. Totem states:
“I was thinking about how breakup sex is this super intimate combination of vindictiveness and vindication. A lot of people get passive aggressive when they’re watching something they’ve built burn down around them. This is the opposite, and there’s a unique bittersweetness in having that moment.”
Be sure to check out the singers first EP, Pride, on his soundcloud. Check out his fiery break up anthem below.
