Being a triple threat is not easy, but this next artist makes it look like it is just that. Native Angeleno, Meg DeLacy is an singer-songwriter whose influences include Amy Winehouse, Jhene Aiko and Corrine Bailey Rae. Meg is best known for her role as Grace Mullen on the hit Freeform series, The Fosters, playing a character who is battling leukemia. On the big and small screen, Meg also stars in NBC’s Chicago PD, FreeForm’s Recovery Road, and the upcoming ’60s inspired indie Woodstock or Bust. Adding to all that talent she has shared with us her new single “Bruises” with a video to accompany it. The video speaks to the track by playing on themes of vulnerability and passion with deep shades of purple all around. The track has also garnered over 130K plays on Spotify and an shoutout by MAOD favorite, Miguel. Watch the rising star’s new video above.
