It may be a gloomy and rainy day here in Brooklyn, but Color Palette has just the right fix for the Thursday blues. Color Palette, Washington, D.C. based quartet-band, has released their third single “Rain.” Their band name is befitting because this track, along with the two others, is bright and colorful. Listening to “Rain” will brighten any day. With the electro-rock-synth-pop production, the production on the track grabs the listener and holds on from start to finish. Their music paints a picture, and takes the listener to another world. The band consists of Jay Nemeyer on vocals/guitar, Josh Hunter on guitar/keys/bass, Matt Hartenau on drums, and Rogerio Naressi on keys; their instrumentation and vocals mesh so well together, and create the perfect sound to become a big hit, musically. We at Music & Other Drugs are excited to see what is to come from Color Palette. Check out their SoundCloud to hear their previous two releases, “Seventeen,” and “Heartless, but first, get into their third single “Rain” below.
