Last night, Music and Other Drugs attended a BET Music Concert series featuring many great talents. From the night, the lyricist from Atlanta, Cellus Hamilton brought the house down with his live performance. Cellus Hamilton opened the show with “A Beautiful Freestyle,” that got the crowd going with call and response singing “Jesus is for everybody.” Cellus brought out special guests during his five-song set, including singer, Emily Thomas on the song “Higher,” and Jordan Moreland and Navelle Hice on the track “600 Degrees Below.” Cellus Hamilton’s last track “Boycott” also had a special guest, his mom. She, too, is a lyricist and awed the crowd with her skills. Cellus’ talent is undeniable, and he laid it all out on the stage last night.
Cellus Hamilton’s sound reaches the masses while the message is clear. Cellus’ spiritual background is the guiding force in his work. Cellus Hamilton’s album The Most Beautiful is out now and available on iTunes. The rapper from ATL has a bright future ahead of him, and with last night’s performance, it is only going up from here.
