Camp Candle share debut mixtape ‘ERE’

Nu Ra and Hetepsa of Camp Candle has just released their debut mixtape, ERE. The Philly DIY musicians first got our attention last year with the release of their tracks “Mr. P,” and “Weapons.” The duo speak about the inspiration behind the name ERE:

“Ere” is an Old English word that means “before (in time). This mixtape represents the beginning of our beginning. We hope you stick around for the next chapter.”

ERE is incredible from start to finish. Camp Candle’s unique sounds have the ability to captivate the listener from beginning to end. While we love all of the tracks on ERE, our favorites are “Until The Morning,” “Surface,” and “Wake Up.” Their project can be downloaded, for free, on their BandCamp, or streamed via YouTube (above), or SoundCloud, below.

Camp Candle will be performing on July 14th in Philly at the Spruce Street Harbor Park, and on July 16th at the Shady Grove Music Festival.
